These last years were very difficult for me, my father died of skin cancer last year, that scared me so much. I loved my bike and now the sun was one of my major concerns in life. Me and my wife live in the south of Brazil and we are both researchers, so that means that a lot is demanded of us, but we neither have financial stability nor immediate perspective for having so.
On top of that I have been struggling with panic attacks for the last 2 years, and I only really started getting better after reconnecting with my life and the world in a more grounded way. Bernardo's videos were a major help in doing this.
I was deeply struck when I heard the news about Bernardo and kept thinking about you two for the last months, hoping things would work out.
This month I started competing for a chair to teach popular piano in a major university here in Brasil, one that if I win, will let us move to Minas Gerais, a very beautiful state that values connection and is welcoming to all. Seeing you two find your footing really helped me see things clearer, even if I don't get this job, or any other jobs after this, we will find a way. We only need each other and life will happen.
I wish you two the best year going forward, filled with happy and meaningful memories!
If you ever come to Brasil, know that you have a friend in me, hopefully I get to show you Minas Gerais one day :)

I am 18M and would be going to university this year
I wanted to take a year break for travel...but yeah !
But when I was watching your videos...it really just raised my expectations and love for life !
I also want to travel across Europe !
