I've been a huge fan of your YouTube channel for a few years now and it's lovely to see you start a blog on your travels as well. You've been a huge inspiration to me, excited to read your travelogues going forward!

I love the storytelling in your updates! The language is playful and rich, and invokes the imagination. It's exactly the style I'd like to use whenever I'm thinking of putting my life into words on paper. Thank you for making those stories available for free! 🙌🏻

Hi guys, super sad that we missed you guys.

We did the reverse trip from you guys - UK to Singapore. Our youtube/instagram channel is @theproperpaupers.

Let us know if you need any advice/help in china (we speak mandarin), and don't forget to sign up for warmshowers!

We also have a website that helps fellow travellers get free accommodation/food. The website is called www.travelbarterworld.com

Safe travels :)

One thing I got curious on reading was, you offering to cook; and imagined whether you have associated with cultures (during your travels) where the guest cooks for the host, or whether you yourself have done so before.

Anyways, the narration about the wholesome family seems exactly as one would imagine it on watching the video 🙂

Ahhhh! We had a similarly heart-melting experience with Malaysian cuisine🤤 we haven’t been to India yet either, but we had the best Indian meal of our life in Penang, as well as the best roti!

You guys might have noticed that the same cultures predominate in Singapore and Malaysia, but they’re much more casually blended in Singapore. It’s one of the most interesting cultural differences between the two countries, I think, with lots of fascinating history behind it.

Also, we just finished watching the last Malaysia video. It was great, as usual! But it must be so bittersweet going through these places so quickly. We spent a few days in Kuala Lumpur, a few days in Penang, a few days in Cameron Highlands, etc... I feel like it'd be so tough to cruise through them only a day or two at a time🥲 but of course, that speed has its benefits too! Thanks as always for sharing your adventures!😁

PS. I wrote about you guys in one of my posts recently, about why people have the urge to travel in the first place. It starts with a great quote from one of Bernardo's videos. Hope you like it😊✌️
